This is one of the better dystopians I've read. Ryan Hunter has dreamed up an amazing future where technology is heavily used to control and manipulate their public, but technology was not ready for teenager Brynn Aberdie who's world crumbles around here after her father is shot and she starts learning the secrets that the One United government fought to keep hidden. With her friend, known as T, their only hope to stopping the government is to find and align themselves with the Freemen after she is armed with knowledge that could be used against One United. What ensues is a wild adventure. You'll find yourself cheering for Brynn and T, especially as romantic feelings for each other begin to surface.Ryan Hunter does a great job of inventing technologies that take this beyond what George Orwell could imagine when he wrote 1984. There is tension throughout the book, beginning from the first page and only allowing small chances to catch your breath until you reach a satisfying ending. If you are looking for the next great dystopian then look no further, you've found it in inDIVISIBLE.

inDIVISIBLE One United Book 1 eBook Robyn Grayless Reviews
very thought provoking... in an age where it seems our freedoms are slowly being taken away and the government thinking they know better about what's good for us than we know ourselves, it gives one a lot to think about. hoping for a sequel in the near future! great job Ryan!
A well written and entertaining novel. The story pulled me in and I didn't want to put it down until I finished it. I can't wait for the followup.
I enjoyed reading this book a lot. Kept you thinking and wondering if this could happen in our lifetime. Wonderful read. It took me a while to finish it because my son wouldn't let me have the ipad or when I had time to read it had to be charged. I finally finished it tonight and enjoyed it tremendously. I am waiting for the next book. There is going to be a next book right?????
This was making me feel like I was getting insight into what's coming in the not too distant future. There's been several attempts at this kind of fiction, but this one seemed more real and authentic. The characters had great courage and had some very thought provoking discussions and experiences that were very believable. I liked the background set-up and felt like the author was really in tune to the kinds of control that happens a little at a time, until we are completely run by government. Great read!
inDIVISIBLE immediately transported me to a different time and place. This book was well-written, full of descriptive imagery that was both jarring and powerful. The characters and their relationships felt authentic and made me care about their struggles to free themselves from a society in which a computer tablet controls your view of truth. inDIVISIBLE truly makes you think about the meanings of identity and freedom and what you would be willing to do to fight for both. I was rooting for Brynn all the way. If you enjoy reading dystopian novels, I totally recommend this one! Well done, Ryan Hunter! I'm looking forward to reading more.
I really loved this book. The other things I've read by Ryan Hunter (under another name) have been good and well thought out. In that sense this one did not disappoint.
I loved how it didn't go into distopian realms while still showing that the people had made it to that point. How much freedom are we willing to give over so we can keep our technology and pretend safety and privacy?
I wish people knew as much about this book as they do about Agenda 21 by Glenn Beck. they both talk about roughly the same thing but in different ways. And while I have started that book. I have found inDIVISIBLE much easier to get into right off the bat and stay engaged in. I read it in a few days and stayed up late doing it.
But there are some things that haven't been finished. we don't know what is on the hard drive or the fate of some of those close to her. we also don't know what all she has repressed in her memory that will help free the people.
Please Ryan, give me more in this series.
I can't remember what recommendation led me to buy this book and the second in the series, but I don't recommend it - instead, get the Matched/Crossed/Reached series by Ally Condie - it has similar themes and events, but is so much better written. Those books pulled me in so that I couldn't wait to continue reading. The typos alone have been extremely irritating to me - the author writes "of" instead of "off" so many times that I actually used my kindle search feature to see if I would ever find the word "off" - okay, sometimes she does use the right word, but lack of editing for a book that costs more than $1.99 is one of my biggest frustration with books, and this is sorely lacking in that department.
As for the actual story, maybe I read it too soon after the other series I referenced, because it feels like a cheap knock-off of the storytelling, and I have been forcing myself to keep reading just to see if it gets better. A book that you have to grit your teeth to get through is not one that should be shared but one that should be warned against.
